Registration Guide to The HTC TyTN II / HTC P3300 / Touch Cruise

Please make sure you have done the following
> Copy Singapore Map into Root Directory of Storage Card (If you are using the Storage card given, goto "MyDocument" folder and copy out the map)
*Root directory is the Storage card itself, The map should not be in any folders or sub folders*
> Start MapKing, Tap Trial (If you see HongKongDemo/Bangalore Registration)
> Tap Tools, More, Switch Map (Upon reaching the next screen you should see another map)
> Tap Singapore and Tap Select Button
Enter the registration code that you already have and tap Register. If you do not have a registration code
Please head to http://www2.mapking.com/en/EnglishReg.htm  (scrool all the way to the bottom and enter your PAC)
scroll to the bottom, enter your Product Authorization code and enter the fields as required (leave out model type if unable to locate)

Upon successful registration please do an update of the MapKing R12 program

    HTC Chinese to English Interface

    Due to the installation of CE star, the program sets the default language of programs to Chinese.

    To switch it back into English, go into MapKing Software,

    Tap on 工具 (tools) --> 系统设定 (more)
                                  --> 使用者介面 (options)
                                  --> 预设 (second drop-down bar)
                                  --> English

    and then followed by tapping on OK at the top right corner.

    Windows Visa Registration and Launching Guide

    Because of Windows Vista's protection system, MapKing does not register Properly. However the workaround is
    > Right click on MapKing 2007 Shortcut and click Properties
    > Make sure you have checked "Run as Administrator" and click OK
    > Run MapKing with the edited shortcut and register.
    For Bluetooth pairing, Please make sure Serial Port is open either from Com Port 1 to Com Port 15 any other ports will not work
    > After MapKing Launches, goto Tools>Option
    > On GPS tab, select the Com Port that your Bluetooth manager has set the serial port to.
    (Either force Bluetooth connection with your GPS device and check the status or it should automatically prompt you once it has connected)

    Nokia S60 MapKing Installtion Guide

    > Please Copy Both MapKing Folder and S60_Installer.sis (may be called MapKing2007_S60.sis) into your Storage card.
    > Make sure you have copied The Map Of Singapore OR Malaysia (Mapdata folder should have _META, Mapdata.g12, and Mapdata.rx) to Mapking\Maps folder
    > On your Phone, goto File Mgr. select StorageCard and run the *.sis file.
    > Choose either Phone or StorageCard as installation path.
